Thamesmead House is a newly registered children’s home in the London Borough of Bexley Heath, in the SW28 postcode area.
The house is a four bedded semi-detached end of terrace, town house for up to three young people. There are three bathrooms (one full bathroom, one ensuite shower room for one of the rooms and a separate downstairs cloakroom) kitchen, living room and a dining area. We have a small garden at the rear of the property, which is full enclosed. There is also off-road parking for one car.
We provide care, support and accommodation for up to 3 young people with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties (EBD). We will provide care for a maximum of three young people aged 5 to 18 years old. The young people will have varying backgrounds and identified needs; we will ensure that any young person placed at Thamesmead House will be cared for to the highest standards. We will only place children and young people whom we are suitably qualified to meet their needs and will be a good match for our existing cohort of residents.
Thamesmead House is well connected via public transport, making it easy for young people to travel around London and beyond. The area is served by several bus routes that connect it to nearby areas and transport hubs. Additionally, Abbey Wood station, located in Thamesmead House, provides access to the National Rail network, including frequent services to London Bridge, London Cannon Street, and other central London destinations. Overall, Thamesmead House’s public transport links make it convenient for young people to explore the city and access educational, employment, and recreational opportunities
The Registered Care Manager has many years of experience of working in the care sector, most of his work has been with young people and/or in mental health support services. The Responsible Individual has worked with children in care for over 20 years in a range of settings, including residential care, education and as a former foster carer. She is a qualified teacher, as well as having the Level 5 diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Care.



The Meadows MK4
The Meadows, Milton Keynes is also a newly registered children’s home in the MK4 area of Oxley Park, Milton Keynes, situated on a residential estate, a short distance from a small parade of shops; comprising of a convenience store, a dentist practice, along with a primary school, nursery and community centre.
The home is a four bed end of terrace property designed for up to three young people, with bedrooms being decorated to meet individual tastes. There are two bathrooms (one full ‘family’ bathroom upstairs and a separate downstairs cloak/ shower room) large kitchen, living room and dining room. To the rear of the property, we have a conservatory and separate converted out-building which will be used as a gaming den, craft room or space for private meetings. We have a small garden at the rear of the property, which is full enclosed. There is parking available on the road outside the property, along with a driveway with space for two cars.

The Meadows has good transport links, with a bus stop within walking distance. There are also 2 train stations (Bletchley and Milton Keynes Central) that can are easily accessed by a short drive or bus ride.
